Stamp Grades

 

Stamp Grades - It defines the quality of stamps and helps to determine its value. Dealers & collectors grade stamps on the following parameters:

 

  1. Superb - This means that the stamp is as new as purchased from the post office. No creases and No perf short. It is perfectly centered.
  2. Fine -This means that the stamp is as good as new, but it is somewhat below superb condition.
  3. Good -It may have slightly faded color and might not be well centered.
  4. Poor -These are the lowest quality stamps having perf short, or creased, or heavily cancelled.
